L'Oreal The Balm Lipstick in Rose Elixir: Review & Swatch!

I've been browsing around finding new lipsticks at the drugstore and I found this. It said " The Balm" so I thought maybe it was like the Revlon lip butters, more than a lip balm but same as a lipstick. I love Revlon Lip Butters! so I knew I had to try this one as well.

Similar packaging as the lip butters! But I like the quilted design and that you can actually see the color through the lid better but still I do like this because this one has SPF! which is a must have considering my lips are always so dry!

The swatch of this is just gorgeous! I really like bubblegum pinks on my lips considering I have fair skin! It's got a nice sheen to it so it's not completely matte but I really do like it!

On my lips this is just beautiful! Even after I give someone a little pucker it doesn't even move! Like a lip stain but in balm form!

Overall, as much as I like these, There will always be a special place in my heart for those Lip Butters. I really am impressed though! The formulation and application is just wonderful and the color payoff for the price is incredible! I am so gonna be looking for more of these!

what do you think? Lip Butters or The Balm?

Nail of the Day: L'Oreal Breaking Curfew!

Just because it's fall, and almost winter, doesn't mean i'm going to stop wearing fun colored nail polish. I like having a pop of color on my nails no matter what it is. I picked up this one from L'Oreal lately and I've been loving it!

I love this color! it's such a beautiful milky pink! it reminds me so much of strawberry milk they had in school! The formulation is great! only 2 coats and I applied a topcoat after so you can see how much of a sheen this gives off! This reminds me so much of OPI's Pink Friday but even better! Definitely going to get some more of these in the future! They're cheap too! about $5- 6 at most drugstores! A favorite of mine now!

What do you think of milky pinks like these?

bareMinerals Eye shadow duo in The Top Shelf: Review & Swatches!

I'm not much of an bareMinerals fan but I figured I try something and maybe it would change my mind, I got this eye shadow duo because around the holidays I like a gold champagne lid and a nice bold red lip.
One thing I absolutely do not like about these is that they outside gets EXTREMELY messy! I've found it's like that with NARS products too. I like the packaging but it gets way to dirty!

I think that the colors are absolutely beautiful in the lid! This is the reason it caught my eye. I thought this would be a more natural kind of shadow too.

I absolutely love the gold color. It reminds me of the Bold Gold Color Tattoo from Maybelline (maybe I could use that for a base!) For the white one it's way to chalky! especially on the eyes!

Overall, I do not like spending 20 dollars for practically one eye shadow that i like. And the gold one creases extremely bad on me if I don't have a primer. Did I really like it? No. Will I but It again? No.

What do you think of bareMinerals?

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Raspberry: Review and Swatches!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Today i'm here to review my newest red lipstick with you, Revlon's Raspberry. I think the name for this shade of lipstick is perfect. Revlon lip products are always amazing!

I love the packaging of Revlon lip products as well. I love the quilted packaging. Unlike the lip Butters you can see the color of the lipstick on the top of the lid. On the lip butters it's see through but it's kinda difficult to see because of the color of the container as well.

The look at this lipstick out of the lid looks like it would be a nice bright red color but is actually a nice berry color on the lips. I love how it says Revlon on the side and not on the part where you put your mouth because it doesn't make it fade away so easily.

The swatch also seems like it's a bright red, but trust me when it's on your lips it's beautiful, especially for the holidays!

told you it's a nice berry color :)

Overall, I am impressed like I am with all of the Revlon lipsticks, This wore about 4-5 hours on me so a little more than average your normal lipstick. I love Revlon's Lip products they never fail!

What do you think of Revlon's lip products?

Revlon Escapism Collection: Photoready Cream Blushes!

My friend sells old limited edition drugstore makeup products for very cheep! She sells them any 4 things for $5 how amazing is that! I got two cream blushes and two powder blushes from the drugstore for $5! Your going to see a lot more Drugstore reviews now because I stocked up on products! I spent about $40... oops :) I got 2 of the Revlon Photoready cream blushes in the little glass jars...

The shades that I picked up was Flushed, a really nice hot bright pink but beautiful when lightly applied, and Coral Reef,  A bright hot coral! I find that since they are in jar form, they're much easier to rub around and apply on your face then the Dream Bouncy Blushes, I also think the formula is better as well!

If you would like to purchase these I found a link on amazon since they are limited edition! Just click the purple words and it will take you right to them :)

Coral Reef Blush   Flushed Blush

As you can see the colors in the jar look so scary to even put on your face, especially the coral one, it looks like a recipe for clown cheeks! But when lightly applied it gives you the most beautiful natural flush on your cheeks!

I actually built up the color on the swathes, it's about 2 to 3 rubs so it's not as pigmented as the cream blushes from NYX (SPOILER ALERT! I got some of there powder blushes too from my friend :)) No product I have every gotten from Revlon has disappointed me so good job again Revlon!

What do you think of cream blushes? which brand is your favorite?   Lexie

♡My Routine For Perfect Nails!: What to do! ♡

So I just painted my nails again! So i'm going to show you how I get perfect nails and how I paint them!

First start off my moisturizing around your cuticles with a nice moisturizing cream to make sure you don't have any dry skin areas and that your nails will look nice and so will your hands.

Now take your cuticle pusher and begin pushing your cuticles back while they're cream on them it will be easier to push them back, since they will be softer with the cream.

OPI Natural Base Coat

Apply a base coat to your natural nails to add shine and protect your real nails :)
Pure Ice: Outrageous
Next apply your favorite Solid color all over your nails, I prefer this one because it'a a silvery metallic purple.

OPI Save Me ( Nicki Minaj Collection)
Once your solid color has dried Apply a nice shimmery topcoat to add design and dimension to your nails

And Voila all done! I hope you enjoy this nail routine! If you do write me a comment down below!

Do you have a nail routine? What products do you use? What do you think of this nail duo yay or nay?

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation: My Thoughts so far!

I went to Sephora again last night (when am I not there?) and I wanted to try a new foundation the lady gave me a deluxe sample of the Urban Decay Naked skin foundation. When I applied it to my face it gave me medium coverage, I don't like full coverage on me because It can look cakey. I noticed this foundation is a bit runny. I know that they compare this to the YSL Touche eclat foundation but i'm not much of a YSL girl. I like applying this with a brush too. I use my F80 from sigma to apply it, and I use my F86 to blend it in. I personally like this foundation but I think it's made for more dry skin.

Image courtesy of google, because I had a sample size & I don't think you really want to see it. The shade the woman gave me was a 3.0 which I actually think is a bit light for me. But I do really like this foundation.

I personally give this foundation a 3.5 out of 5. It doesn't wear your basic 8 hour claim but It hasn't broken me out or anything so I still think this is a really nice foundation!

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows in Perpetual Purple & Iced Latte, Review & Swatches!

I went on a drugstore makeup shopping spree and I noticed these two Shadows. I don't have a lot of L'Oreal things so I figured I'd try them out and If I didn't like them then give them to my older sister. I thought they would be like a pigment or lose shadow.( which I can't stand, they are so messy!!) So I opened it up and swatched it on my hand and It reminded me of the Color Tattoos by Maybelline but in a powder form, because the packaging is so alike!

See how it looks somewhat similar to the Maybelline ones, except they are rounded & this one is more square!

I think the color of this is just outstanding! For all over the lid it's just flawless, when the cashier was ringing this up she looked at me and smiled so I guessed that meant it had to be good!

I don't know why but whenever I tried to swatch this and take a picture it was blurry for no reason! But you can still see just how BEAUTIFUL this color is! This is one of my new favorites!

So beautiful! When I seen this one it was hard not to resist but at least I only got two! I had five in my cart!

This is just the most richest, deepest and most beautiful purple I have ever seen! I love how the purple has a hint of black in it as well! When I apply this, I use a shader brush by sigma and It's just amazing!

The swatch even has a nice silvery, purple black hint to it. Perfect for smoky eyes and a nude lip eh? I think so?

You need to try these, you won't be disappointed!
What's your favorite thing from L'Oreal? I like their blushes too!

Nail Of The Day: Opi Malage Wine

I just can't decide the backround of what I want to take my pictures in front of, ugh, I have so many free space to do it to. Help! What do you guys think I should do? Anyways todays nail of the day is OPI's Malage wine. With winter approaching very quickly almost I figured time to break out the deep reds. This one also goes with my Cherries in the snow lipstick from revlon! I just love the deep wine color look on my nails. Like I spilt red wine on my nails!

I love OPI polishes (like I say in every OPI nail of the day) it's mainly the only nail polish brand I buy! What's your favortie Nail polish brand?

What do you think about deep reds, yay or nay?

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer: Review & Swatch!

Over the weekend I was getting a gift for my grandmas birthday and when I went into Sephora It was awful, something made me just want every single thing in the store and I did a little damage. This product was one of the many other damages! I also got the Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet because every time I go to my Sephora they still never have it! But the just got in a shipment, I'm so excited!

As you can see the packaging is just totally adorable! I love the Hershey kiss on it and I just love that it's made with real Cocoa powder. And the fact that this bronzer is matte makes it even better!

I'm not one of those girls who likes shimmer in their bronzer, the farthest shimmer amount I would go with a bronzer is Laguna from NARS but nothing more! Although I do like shimmer in Blushes because of the sheen! :)I think I would recommend this for light to medium skin tones because for darker complections I think this would just be like a setting powder.

I personally think that this bronzer has topped my Hoola, Laguna and all my other drugstore Bronzers.  This bronzer is not to dark like Hoola, but It still has lots of pigmentation which is what I love. I love using this bronzer in the fall and winter because it warms your skin up beautifully which if you lose your tan very past like me or is pale this would be perfect.

Too faced Chocolate soleil bronzer retails for $29 and has 10g of powder. I love this bronzer and So will you!

What's your favorite high-end bronzer?

C.O Bigelow Lemon Lip Balm: My Thoughts!

Picked up a new Lip balm at Bath & Body Works and I LOVE IT! even more than my Baby Lips from Maybelline! I love that I can actually taste the lemon on my lips! and It reminds me so much of the packaging of the Nivea lip balms. I love this! It's one of those products I can put over a lipstick and It can be just so wonderful

I just think that for $7.50 (kind of expensive for a lip balm) is worth it! and Is wonderful for chapped lips because it has SPF 20 and it even feels moisturizing than the baby lips as well!

It comes out clear which is nice because you can wear it alone which makes your lips more bigger and plump looking or gives some nice shine over a matte lipstick.

I love this C.O Bigelow brand, what about you?

Maybelline Fall Eye Studio Quad in Cozy Cashmere: Review & Swatch!

Go get this.. Now.. Stop what you are doing and go. This for fall equals perfect. I hope everyone gets a chance to pick this up because it would be awful if you didn't. I think that these colors are perfect for a nice autumn day. And can be perfect for anyone. Don't hesitate not to..

Can we all just take a moment to say how beautiful this is? It's limited edition so hurry! If you're a girl who likes only matte and no shimmer colors then this isn't for you but if you're like me and are crazy for shimmery colors than you will love this. It comes with a really nice cream color highlight & inner corner a nice shimmery color for the lid, a somewhat matte color for the crease (not completely matte) and a deep color for deepening the look up.

I just love the packaging of this and it even comes with a long duo ended sponge tip applicator. I like to use these to run product along my lower lash line because it's pointed.

The swatches and pigmentation is just amazing (5 out of 5 stars!) I think anyone would be crazy not to like this! That white swatch reminds me of MAC's All that Glitters! Dupe! I just love the Maybelline fall line. Do you?

What's your favorite eye shadow quad?

Bath & Body Works Leaves Candle; Thoughts..

I went to Bath & Body Works recently because yes, it was 2 for $20 again. Whenever they have that I can't resist it! I've seen this scent last year but never cared to pick it up. I'm so glad I did! I love burning candles in fall and winter because they just light up a house.

I not only like the smell of this candle but I like the design too. I've seen the one they had last year but never really cared for it. Since I had a 10 of $30 coupon I got 3 candles for $20 (bargain shopper) So I figured I'd try some scents I haven't tried before. I love the smell of this candle it's a apple, berry, vanilla and spice all together and it's just amazing.

The description of this candle is " A fragrance that embodies the richness of fall- with all of it's colors and pleasures- featuring noted of golden nectar, ripe delicious apple and red berries." This couldn't fit the description any better.

What's your favorite Bath & Body Works Candle?

Baking: Candy Corn Baby Cakes <3

After seeing Beautybaby44 on Youtube create these I knew I had to, too. It's called Baby Cakes which are like cupcakes but so much cuter! This recipe makes 48 mini baby cakes and I think it was perfect to give them out to trick or treaters! You can do the same with Bigger cupcakes but with the miniature ones it's just so cute.
