Nail of The Day: Nicole by OPI: A Million Sparkles

I cut my nails over the weekend because they were starting to get really long, after I was done that I decided to paint my nails. I chose one of my rarely used polish and I have no clue why I never use it. This is the most pigmented glitter polish I have EVER seen! Only 2 coats of this was used and it looks absolutely amazing! I just love the rainbow sparkles it has in this. It makes it look so beautiful on my nails. Even if it a spring time kind of polish it is just to beautiful to not use.

I read lots of blogs on Beauty but I never hear anyone talk about Nicole by OPI. it's actually a really good brand. I like it a whole lot better than I do Sephora by OPI because these are way more pigmented! I really think that it's a brand not everyone is familiar with. What do you think?

Do you have any Nicole by OPI Polishes?

Benefit: How to look the best at everything: My Thoughts!

Today I'm here to talk about on of my favorite things lately. Benefits How to look the best at everything kit, when really it's just a kit if you maybe wanna touch up you're makeup or you want some coverage for the day. I personally love benefit so I was excited to try it out considering there other Boxed kits like this but smaller.

They have 3 shades in this Light, Medium, and dark. The light one is probably most suitable for light-medium skin tones because of the foundation color. Especially if you are a 1 or 2 in the boi-ing concealer this one is perfect.

This kit comes with a .25 oz of The POREfessional, .23 oz Hello Flawless Oxygen wow Foundation in "Cheers to me" Champagne, 2 .05 Boi-ing concealers in 01 and 02, and a .14 oz Hello Flawless Powder in "Me, Vain?" all for $30 which isn't bad but if on a budget can be pricey.

POREfessional, Hello Flawless Foundation, 01, 02 concealer, and  Hello Flawless Powder.

This kit also comes with instructions on how to get a flawless step by step face. I personally think that this kit is a little to pricey considering these are very few amounts of stuff. It's nice especially when traveling but not something I would use on a day to day use.

What's your favorite foundation, concealer, primer, and powder?

Rimmel Blush in Autumn Catwalk: Review & Swatches!

I went to target this weekend and good girl me only bought one makeup item. This is this Rimmel London Blush in Autumn Catwalk. After I seen Missglamorazzi aka Ingrid on Youtube talk about how much she loves it, I thought I would give it a try. This is one of those pinky blushes so if your more of a coral or berry color blush girl like me, then I would use the darker pink in this. Because of the berry tint to it.

I love the Packaging of this blush because it's the same kind of packaging as their single eye shadows. I think that for the price of this blush is really worth it.

Here I swatched each one individually, then did one big one of all of them. See how the last 2 colors are really nice berry toned. This is one of my new favorite blushes. What I also like is that it's very settle shimmer, so you don't have big chunks of glitter on your cheeks.

Rimmel blushes retail for about $4.50 with 4.5 grams of product so it's like paying $1 per gram which is really not that bad. They can be found at any drugstore or wherever Rimmel is sold. I think that Rimmel and Revlon blushes are some of the best the drugstore has. If you try it email it to me beautybaby134@gmail.com

What's your favorite drugstore blush?

None, I've been on a roll switching up my nail color. But I'm painting them soon which means NOTD!

5.) If you could only use one makeup product, what would it be?
I would say a BB cream. Mainly because it's multi purpose. it can be used as a sunscreen, a base or a tinted moisturizer/ foundation. Plus I wouldn't feel like I've had a lot of harsh chemicals on my face. After that it would have to be Concealer, Powder, Mascara.

6.) Current outfit:

7.) Are you good at keeping in touch with friends and family?

This isn't really a collection but I'm excited for the limited edition red lipsticks from the drugstores. I love red lipsticks and the only ones that really work for me are the Tarte Glamazon ones and the Maybelline, Revlon, and other bright candy apple lip colors :)

9.) The world's most wonderful chef is at your home ready to fix any meal you desire-- what do you order? Seafood! I love Red Lobster & since I don't really get to eat out a lot. Benefit Coralista Ultra Plush Lip Gloss: Review & Swatch!

Today I'm here to talk about my recent purchase from benefit was an Ultra Plush lip gloss. I mainly went to go get a new foundation because I was out which I did get (review soon!) But when i asked her what this was laying on the counter she asked if I wanted her to put it on me and BAM! instant love! These glosses go with there 6 most popular boxed powders. The sales lady in the stores put it  on me and instantly I knew, it was the one for me. I personally am a gloss girl rather then lipstick. So i knew that glosses was what I went to go get.

This lip gloss comes with a squeezy tube. I'm not that huge of it because I mostly like a wand or brush applicator but if it gets messy I can always just wipe clean the top then it will be like new again!

As you can see the lip gloss makes it look like it's going to be a really bright red to go with the light coral blush but in reality, The gloss goes on sheer but it still gives a nice flush of color. I personally love the blush as well. It's one of my all type favorites I like to wear into the spring.

As you can see the lip gloss is a bit more red then the blush but when on the lips it just like a my lips but better color. Nothing against benefit i'm just saying that the way they have the bottle it makes it seem like it's going to be an extremely dark gloss.

On my lips the Coralista looks beautiful. I think on my lips it's a nice coral, peachy, pink. It gives off an nice sheen. I think that the gloss is worth the hype. The benefit Plush glosses retail for about $16 and are available wherever benefit it sold like Sephora and Ulta!

What's your favorite lip gloss? Do you like wand, tube, or brush applicators?

xoxo Lexie

Sigma Synthetic Kabuki Kit 5 Brushes: Review!

So I recently picked up some new brushes from sigma. I already have Essential Kit and I figured it was time to get some new brushes I also ordered the Performance Eyes Kit. I know Sigma has a Synthetic Kabuki 4 brush Kit for $56 but I think the $13 extra for this kit is worth it because you get another brush.  I love sigma brushes because they don't shed and are so soft and easy to use! I really love this kit because it has the synthetic top which makes it so easy to blend cream products in, and get concealer around those "hard to reach" areas.

The Synthetic Kabuki 5 Brush Kit Comes With a F80- Flat Kabuki, F82, Round Kabuki, F84 Angled Kabuki, F86 Tapered Kabuki, and a F88 Flat Angled Kabuki

The F80 Brush Is my 3rd favorite. This Brush says it's best for Applying liquid or cream products to flat areas of the face such as the forehead and cheeks. I personally just use this to buff on my liquid foundation and then use the F82 to blend it in my skin. This overall is one of the best brushes that Sigma has ever made.

I would say that the F82 brush is my favorite. This brush is what I can use for anything like blending foundation, powder or cream blush, bronzer powder, Anything. I love it so much. It says it's best for blending mineral products onto the skin. But since it's Synthetic it can work for cream too. I really like how this brush is universal so if one of my other brushes was dirty I could use this one.

This F84 Brush is probably my least favorite blush because I can really only use it for 2 things. I like my stuff to be multi-purpose. Powder bronzer, blush or cream bronzer or blush is really all I could use this for. It even says best for Buffing cream blush or bronzer onto the skin. I'm not saying I will never be using it. But I will say that my other Synthetic brushes will probably be used more often. There is nothing bad about this brush but it's just not the one for me.

This F86 is my second favorite brush. I love this because If my buffer brush is dirty I can use this one. Along with powder or cream highlighters because with he pointed tip it's easy to get small places onto my face such as down my nose my cheekbones and my cupids bow. This says it's best for applying cream and liquid foundations on the harder to reach contours of the face. I also like using this one for blending. Blending is a very important step when it comes to makeup so if my other brush the F82 is dirty I can use this one.

This is kind of an in-the-middle brush. It's not my favorite but it's not my least. This kind of like a typical foundation brush but this one is angled. I personally think that this brush is just one of those spare or travel type brushes. I will use this probably just for blending out bronzer or blush but it says best for blending foundation onto the skin in the hard to reach areas of the face.

What's your favorite brush from sigma or brush in general?
Let me know! Lexie xoxo :)
